On behalf of the Board of Directors please know that we are mindful that members of our community worldwide have been and are being affected powerfully. Indeed this is an extraordinarily challenging time where we experience the intimate connection between local and global. We trust that your family, work and community networks are safe and well and that you are getting through this time as best as possible.
This global health crisis forces us to reconsider IARSLCE programming plans for the 2020 calendar year. As you know we have been greatly anticipating the 20th anniversary conference scheduled for November in Minneapolis. Andy Furco, Amber Cameron and the UMN team has been working feverishly to set the conference in motion. One of the main highlights of this anniversary conference is the unveiling of the new service-learning and community engagement research agenda, the development of which has been led by Dr. Furco and in which many of you have participated over the last couple of years all over the world.
To ensure that we are making prudent decisions for the 2020 conference and other IARSLCE programming, we ask that you take a couple of minutes to complete the following survey to ensure that we are informed and responsive to our members during this global crisis.
Thanks for your participation in IARSLCE and thanks in advance for your participation in the important data gathering opportunity.
Walk In Victory,
Timothy K. Eatman, Ph.D.
