2008 Research Conference
The Eighth International Research Conference on Service-Learning and Community Engagement will be hosted by Tulane University and held at the Marriott New Orleans at the Convention Center October 26-28, 2008, with preconference sessions on Saturday October 25. The theme for the 2008 conference is “The Scholarship of Engagement: Dimensions of Reciprocal Partnerships” Click here for the conference website. |
IARSLCE Awards 2008
IARSLCE is pleased to announce that it will present three awards at the 2008 conference: the Research Award, a new Early Career Research Award, and a new Dissertation Award. Applications/nominations for the research and early career awards are due June 13, 2008, and for the dissertation award are due June 30, 2008. For more information, please click here. |
Graduate Student Network
The Graduate Student Network (GSN) is for graduate students who are interested in advancing research on service-learning and community engagement. The GSN is an affiliate group of IARSLCE and provides a graduate-student only listserv, mentoring opportunities, and research advancement and professional development workshops at the annual IARSLCE conference (Oct. 25-28, New Orleans, LA).
