Tiana Nobile is a writer and educator with over ten years of experience teaching in a variety of settings. Recently named one of The Gambit’s “40 Under 40,” Tiana is the author of the poetry collection, Cleave (Hub City Press, 2021), and her writing has appeared in The New Republic, Poets & Writers, The Writer’s Chronicle, and Lit Hub, among others. She is a Kundiman fellow, recipient of a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writer’s Award, two-time finalist of the National Poetry Series, and a founding member of The Starlings Collective.

Tiana earned a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, MAT in Elementary and Special Education from the University of New Orleans, and MFA in Poetry from Warren Wilson College. She is excited to bring her background in the arts, education, and nonprofit administration to IARSLCE! She lives in New Orleans, Louisiana, with her family.
